Greenwich Gallery 2014
In November 2014, I exhibited a selection of prints in a show titled 'Greenwich Park: Beauty, Magic and Escape'. This took place near the park in the Greenwich Gallery. Gorgeous, archive quality prints were created by neighbouring fine art printers the DPC using specialist inks on Fuji satin paper.
The exhibition was covered by the Evening Standard, the Londonist, many web based listings sites and local newspapers Greenwich Time and the Westcombe News. Local social media sites including Greenwich Hour, Greenwich Visitor, MrGreenwich and many others promoted the show.
Supporting me in this project were students from three classes at Charlton Park Academy who presented their own digital images of nature in Greenwich Park on a large display screen. Their photographs revealed a completely different vision; the liveliness of squirrels, pigeons and ducks, mosaic like reflections in puddles, beautiful close-up studies of flowers and leaves and the graphic forms of benches and park architecture. It was a privilege to share the show with these talented young people.
The many encouraging comments left by visitors can be read below in the gallery.
